During cast #99 the rosette hit the deck; a log entry indicates no damage was found and CTD data loo However, comparisons with bottles show that both conductivity channels were affected. The differences between CTD salinity channels differ from what the post-cruise calibration shows, so that something other than calibration drift affected salinity values. The secondary salinity was selected for both sections with no correction made to events #1-99 and +0.0087psu for events #103-260. This correction does mean raising the secondary salinity by 0.0057 more than the post-cruise calibra but it is clear that something was going on beyond calibration drift.
