CTD salinity values were within +/-0.005 of 4 bottle samples near the bottom of casts. No recalibration was applied to the CTD salinity. Comparisons from previous uses also suggest calibration errors are small. Oxygen:Dissolved:SBE values cannot be confirmed as there was no calibration sampling for dissolved oxygen. Surface saturation values varied greatly with low values in areas of active mixing and high values in Baynes Sound, but were mostly between 85% and 115%. Calibration errors for this type of sensor generally involve values being low by 2% to 4%, but the sensor had been recently calibrated, so errors may be smaller.
