No recalibration was applied to Salinity:Primary because the comparison with bottle samples was too scattered and subject to many sources of error. This was the first use of this CTD since it was serviced at the factory, so little calibration drift is expected. Oxygen:Dissolved:SBE values cannot be confirmed as there was no calibration sampling for dissolved oxygen. Surface saturation values varied greatly. While the CTD fluorescence data are expressed in concentration units, they do not always compare well to extracted chlorophyll samples.
