There was no calibration sampling and no useful calibration history from previous cruises. Unfortunately, this is an area of great variability so little can be concluded except to say that no variable stood out as obviously out of line. The 2 salinity channels differed by 0.006psu. There was no way to determine which of the 2 channels is more accurate. No recalibration was applied.
