Overall, the CTD data were of good quality, but in the top 5m there was frequent corruption by shed wakes. While the CTD fluorescence data are expressed in concentration units, they do not always compare well to extracted chlorophyll samples, so it is recommended that those samples be checked. For this cruise there was extracted chlorophyll sampling near the surface. Overall, the SBE Fluorometer data compared well with the chlorophyll samples.
