The downcast salinity and dissolved oxygen data were bad. CTDEDIT was used to remove records corrupted by shed wakes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Data Processing Notes: ---------------------- Conductivity, pH:SBE and Fluorescence:URU:Wetlabs data are nominal and unedited except that some records were removed in editing temperature and salinity. There was no calibration sampling for salinity and dissolved oxygen and no history of previous calibration sampling for these sensors. No recalibration was applied to the CTD data. Overall, the CTD data were of good quality, but in the top 5m there was frequent corruption by shed wakes. While the CTD fluorescence data are expressed in concentration units, they do not always compare well to extracted chlorophyll samples, so it is recommended that those samples be checked. For this cruise there was extracted chlorophyll sampling near the surface. Overall, the SBE Fluorometer data compared well with the chlorophyll samples.
