In some cases bottles may have closed above the target depth. CTD salinity values were higher than the bottle samples by a median of 0.008psu. Calibration sampling for salinity and dissolved oxygen was done at 3 sites. There are likely errors due to incomplete flushing of Niskin bottles and bottles being fired above the nominal depths. Both those errors would lead CTD salinity appearing to be higher than bottles. No recalibration was applied to the CTD salinity.
