The quality of the data are somewhat lower than downcast data due to more corruption by shed wakes. CTDEDIT was used to remove a few near-surface records and records from the bottom 18db which had bad conductivity, and a few other records corrupted by shed wakes; salinity was cleaned. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Data Processing Notes: ---------------------- No calibration sampling was available. The conductivity and salinity from 15 casts were out of line with near-by casts with salinity differing by roughly 6psu. The cause of the problem in discussed in the processing report but no clear answer emerged.
