Data Processing Notes: ---------------------- Dissolved Oxygen and pH:SBE data are nominal and unedited, except that some records were removed in editing temperature and salinity. Channel Fluorescence:URU:Wetlabs was removed from casts #2-41 & #49-54 because the protective cap had not been removed. The data that remain are nominal. Some small negative values in fluorescence were set to 0 using program Calibrate. The raw files from events #93 to #141 contained only surface data and were not processed. The data from event #190 were lost. There was no calibration sampling available from this cruise. An inter-ship comparison of 2 casts from cruise 2017-52 with a cast from a cruise that did include calibration sampling, suggested that the salinity values from this CTD were accurate but that dissolved oxygen values were likely low by up to 4%. The length of the surface soaks varied greatly, with many being long enough for the pumps to come on and equilibration of pumped channels to be achieved. For some the soak was too short for equilibration to occur before the CTD had started the downcast.
