Incomplete flushing of Niskin bottles makes interpretation of the bottle comparison uncertain. If only bottles below 50db are included both salinity channels appeared to be close to bottles. There was a large change in at least one of the conductivity sensor calibrations between this cruise and the one that followed, so the post-cruise calibration cannot be applied to these data.
