The titration system consisted of a Brinkmann Dosimat (model 765) and a PC 950 Colorimeter. All samples were analyzed at IOS within a week of collection. For details including a duplicate analysis see document 2010-73-oxy.xls. Salinity samples were collected in glass bottles and analyzed on Guildline Autosal model 8400B, S/N 69086, at IOS. Salinometers are standardized with IAPSO standard seawater. Full results are in file 2010-22-sal*.xls. Nutrient samples were collected in plastic tubes and stored frozen and later analysed at IOS using an Astoria analyzer following methods described in Barwell-Clarke and Whitney (1996). File "QF 2010-22nuts*.xls" includes the raw data and an analysis of duplicates. Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) was determined using coulometric analysis. Total alkalinity (Alk) was determined by potentiometric titration. Methods including analysis and quality control are detailed in Dickson et al (1993) and Ianson et al (2007). References: 1. Data from the SBE Dissolved Oxygen sensor may be of lower quality than usual since damage to the membrane was discovered after the cruise. NOTE: Sample #41: ALL: Niskin bottle #21 did not fire; no CTD data were acquired. However, the bottle did close and samples were taken from it. The pH, DIC and alkalinity samples are consistent with the bottle having closed at 14m, the same as Niskins #20 and 22. CTD data were copied from Niskin #22, but given the uncertainty, pressure was removed for that bottle, and channel Depth:Nominal was added. The depths entered come from the Rosette sheet except near the surface where the approximate CTD pressure was used. Note also that only 1 bottle closed at 100m although 2 were planned, so the sampling levels do not match the rosette log sheet entries. *CALIBRATION $TABLE: CORRECTED CHANNELS !
