SBE Fluorescence was originally converted using a 3X gain, but that led to high values for the time of year, ~25 mg/m^3. There is no evidence that values were particularly high in the Strait of Georgia at that time, but we do not have extracted chlorophyll samples, so there remains some doubt. The fluorescence was corrected by dividing the values by 10. Transmissivity data from sensor #1005DR have been found to be very low on all deployments Since July 2009. A correction factor of 2.087 was applied based on deep offshore measurements from other cruises.
