Salinometers are standardized with IAPSO standard seawater. For analysis results see file "2009-41-HSS-salinity.csv". Nutrient samples were collected in plastic tubes and stored frozen and later analysed at IOS using an Astoria analyzer following methods described in Barwell-Clarke and Whitney (1996). CTD data were taken from the upcast at 10db. For a few casts no CTD data were available at the sampling level. Salinity has not been recalibrated. Comparison with bottles suggest salinity is good to +/- 0.005 except in areas of high gradient where errors are likely to be higher.
