Salinity samples were collected in glass bottles and analyzed on Guildline Autosal model 8400B at IOS. Salinometers are standardized with IAPSO standard seawater. CTD data were taken from the downcast at 8db. For a few casts no CTD data were available at the sampling level. The transmissivity data were bad throughout the cruise and have been removed. The primary pump did not work well during Leg 1. The fluorometer and dissolved oxygen sensors were mounted on the primary pump and the data for both those sensors look bad for Leg 1, so the channels were removed for those casts #1 - 328. Both performed well on Leg 2. The dissolved oxygen data for Leg 2 have been recalibrated using the results of cruise 2008-01, the last time the sensor is known to have been used. DO calibration generally drifts slowly.
