The problem disappeared after replacement of a pump cable. This cast was affected by the problem with large sections of bad temperature and salinity data.. CTDEDIT was used to remove surface records to 4.2db and records heavily corrupted by the pump problem between 889 and 894db and from 1004db to the bottom of the cast; salinity was cleaned. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Transmissivity and fluorescence are nominal and unedited except that some records were removed in editing temperature and salinity.
