Dissolved Oxygen Sample #153: Value in file originally given as 3.349, but was replaced by 2.349. The rosette sheet lists the value as "2". Analysis methods: ----------------- Salinity samples are collected in glass bottles and analyzed on Guildline model 8400B Autosal Salinometers which are standardized with IAPSO standard seawater. Oxygen samples are analyzed on an automated Winkler titration system following the procedures of Carpenter (1965). A Brinkmann model 665 Dosimat and model PC910 Colorimeter is controlled by Visual-Basic program to titrate the oxygen samples. References: 1. Carpenter, J.H. 1965. Recalibration of SBE Dissolved Oxygen ------------------------------------- The SBE sensor calibration drifted significantly during the cruise, so the data were divided into 2 sections for recalibration. Where there were insufficient data to enable reliable recalibration the channel was removed. *CALIBRATION $TABLE: CORRECTED CHANNELS !
