CTDEDIT was used to remove records from the top 4db and many records corrupted by shed wakes; salinity was cleaned. ******************************************************************** Transmissivity and fluorescence are nominal and unedited except that some records were removed in editing temperature and salinity. The DO sensor was originally identified incorrectly and the wrong calibration was used. There were many bottles, so the calibration which was based on comparison to titrated values is believed to have corrected this error. The dissolved oxygen data in the CTD files should be considered • ±0.4ml/l from 0 - 200m • ±0.2ml/l from 200 – 1000m • ±0.1ml/l from 1000 - 1500m • This instrument is considered unreliable below 1500db; for this mission bottle comparisons suggest that the Oxygen:Dissolved:SBE channel is low by from 0.1 to 0.2ml/l between 1500 and 4000db. *CALIBRATION $TABLE: CORRECTED CHANNELS !
