The average of 2 samples is reported. Variability is assessed as the % (std dev/mean*100). For analysis results, see file "2005-17chlarc.xls". Salinity samples were collected in glass bottles and analyzed on Guildline Autosal model 8400B at IOS. Salinometers are standardized with IAPSO standard seawater. For analysis results see file "2005-17-sal.xls". ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CTD Data Processing Notes: ---------------------- A Niskin bottle was attached about 5m above the CTD which was stopped at about 16m for sampling, so CTD data were taken from the downcast at 11db. The only bottles were from around 11db so the comparison with the CTD data has a lot of scatter; salinity is considered +/-0.005psu. The transmissivity channel was removed because the data were bad.
