The average of 2 samples is reported. Variability is assessed as the % (std dev/mean*100). For analysis results, see file "2005-03-chl-comp.xls". Salinity samples were collected in glass bottles and analyzed on Guildline Autosal model 8400B at IOS. Salinometers are standardized with IAPSO standard seawater. For analysis results see file "2005-03-SALS.xls". Nutrient samples were collected in plastic tubes and stored frozen and later analysed at IOS using Technicon AA II analyzer following methods described in Barwell-Clarke and Whitney (1996) For analysis results, see files "QF 2005-03NUTS.csv". There were also a few deep salinity samples. The transmissivity data are nominal. The comparison with bottle data showed a lot of scatter; salinity is considered +/-0.005psu. The fluorescence channel was removed because the data was bad due to a clogged bleed value in the secondary pump.
