There are times and there is a list of site #s and positions. For most files the site # was entered into the original file name, so a rough position can be determined, though there is no assurance that each visit to the site stopped at exactly the same place. For some casts there was no record of site # and positions were inferred from order of sampling (assuming all casts are at standard sites), maximum pressure and T-S characteristics.
