There were spikes in pressure and a lot of noise in the conductivity channel, leading to noise in salinity. The dissolved oxygen channel could not be aligned due to pressure problems. The primary sensors were affected most severely, so secondary sensors were chosen for archiving. Bad data in the dissolved oxygen channel (around 780db and between 1030 and 1280db)was replaced with pad values. There are doubts about all DO values since there appear to be jumps in values. CTDEDIT was used to clean temperature lightly and salinity heavily, especially around 750db and between 1050db and 1300db. Some data was removed where shed wakes appear to have corrupted the records. Salinity should be considered +/- 0.02 between 1050db and 1300db. ******************************************************************************** The data from this cruise contained many spikes in all channels. The temperature and salinity have been edited extensively, but other channels were not edited, except that some records were removed in the course of editing T and S. Oxygen:Dissolved:SBE - This channel was processed by shifting +220 records with respect to pressure before removal of any records. Recalibration was done in 2 steps, using files 2003-27-recal1.ccf and 2003-27-recal2.ccf as described in the REMARKS section of the header.
