The pressures of the bottle trips are also from the uncorrected upcast data. Dissolved oxygen concentrations were determined using an automated Titration system consisting of a Brinkman Dosimat (model 665) and a PC 900 Colorimeter. Nutrients were measured using an Autoanalyzer II, following the Procedures outlined in 'Institute of Ocean Sciences Nutrient Methods and Analysis, Barwell-Clarke and Whitney, 1997'. The samples were frozen on board and brought back to IOS for analysis. Nitrate/silicate samples were defrosted for about 24 h before analysis. Phosphate samples were rapidly defrosted in moving room temperature air or warm water. Lab temperature was noted periodically, and may be found on the original data sheets; it was generally around 26 C. See file 9814nutr.xls for details on the analysis, turbidity corrections and calibration for the nutrient data. For nutrients, total of 189 samples were measured and of these, 25 samples were measured in duplicate to estimate variability and the pooled standard deviations are as follows: Nitrate Sp=0.37 uM; Silicate Sp=0.72 uM; Phosphate Sp=0.042 uM. *INSTRUMENT TYPE : Bottle MODEL : Niskin 10 Litre !-1-- --2--- ---3---- ---4---- --5-- ---6--- ---7---- !Samp Pressu Temperat Salinity Trans Oxygen: Salinity !le_ re ure: :T0:C0 missi Dissolv :Bottle !Numb Primary vity ed !er !---- ------ -------- -------- ----- ------- -------- *END OF HEADER 1208 0.5 15.6126 19.2741 23.2 6.680 -99.0000 1207 10.9 9.7833 30.7802 55.6 4.576 -99.0000 1206 21.4 9.2513 31.4716 63.9 4.410 -99.0000 1205 31.0 9.1243 31.6909 64.6 3.894 -99.0000 1204 50.8 8.7927 32.2208 62.6 3.423 -99.0000 1203 75.2 8.4942 32.4400 62.3 2.807 -99.0000 1202 100.8 8.2862 32.5507 61.1 2.549 -99.0000 1201 124.8 8.2863 32.6250 60.0 2.898 -99.0000 1200 150.2 8.3127 32.6710 58.9 3.172 -99.0000 1199 174.3 8.3057 32.6959 59.3 3.223 -99.0000 1198 200.0 8.1006 32.6976 60.6 2.527 32.6994 1197 250.4 7.6881 32.7520 60.5 1.220 32.7562 1196 300.5 7.6372 32.7800 59.0 1.045 32.7833 1195 362.4 7.6181 32.7897 57.2 0.950 32.7914
