The pressures of the bottle trips are also from the uncorrected upcast data. Dissolved oxygen concentrations were determined using an automated Titration system consisting of a Brinkman Dosimat (model 665) and a PC 900 Colorimeter. Nutrients were measured using an Autoanalyzer II, following the Procedures outlined in 'Institute of Ocean Sciences Nutrient Methods and Analysis, Barwell-Clarke and Whitney, 1997'. The samples were frozen on board and brought back to IOS for analysis. Nitrate/silicate samples were defrosted for about 24 h before analysis. Phosphate samples were rapidly defrosted in moving room temperature air or warm water. Lab temperature was noted periodically, and may be found on the original data sheets; it was generally around 26 C. See file 9814nutr.xls for details on the analysis, turbidity corrections and calibration for the nutrient data. For nutrients, total of 189 samples were measured and of these, 25 samples were measured in duplicate to estimate variability and the pooled standard deviations are as follows: Nitrate Sp=0.37 uM; Silicate Sp=0.72 uM; Phosphate Sp=0.042 uM. *INSTRUMENT TYPE : Bottle MODEL : Niskin 10 Litre !-1-- --2--- ---3---- ---4---- --5-- ---6--- ---7---- !Samp Pressu Temperat Salinity Trans Oxygen: Salinity !le_ re ure: :T0:C0 missi Dissolv :Bottle !Numb Primary vity ed !er !---- ------ -------- -------- ----- ------- -------- *END OF HEADER 982 0.3 15.2659 21.8193 34.4 7.297 -99.0000 981 10.5 10.5350 29.1907 40.4 5.818 -99.0000 980 20.5 9.1105 30.8026 56.2 4.771 -99.0000 979 30.4 8.8794 31.1371 59.0 4.564 -99.0000 978 50.5 8.5153 31.8014 59.7 4.184 -99.0000 977 75.6 8.3074 32.2931 63.3 3.900 -99.0000 976 100.5 8.1030 32.5151 61.6 3.633 -99.0000 975 125.1 7.9820 32.7067 61.2 3.859 -99.0000 974 150.2 7.9354 32.7525 60.7 3.882 -99.0000 973 175.4 7.8983 32.7992 61.7 3.931 -99.0000 972 200.6 7.8369 32.8350 61.2 3.866 32.8536 971 250.4 7.7273 32.8968 60.3 3.781 32.9002 970 299.7 7.6885 32.9197 59.8 3.731 32.9220 969 373.2 7.6576 32.9410 56.3 3.679 32.9421
