The pressures of the bottle trips are also from the uncorrected upcast data. Dissolved oxygen concentrations were determined using an automated Titration system consisting of a Brinkman Dosimat (model 665) and a PC 900 Colorimeter. Nutrients were measured using an Autoanalyzer II, following the Procedures outlined in 'Institute of Ocean Sciences Nutrient Methods and Analysis, Barwell-Clarke and Whitney, 1997'. The samples were frozen on board and brought back to IOS for analysis. Nitrate/silicate samples were defrosted for about 24 h before analysis. Phosphate samples were rapidly defrosted in moving room temperature air or warm water. Lab temperature was noted periodically, and may be found on the original data sheets; it was generally around 26 C. See file 9814nutr.xls for details on the analysis, turbidity corrections and calibration for the nutrient data. For nutrients, total of 189 samples were measured and of these, 25 samples were measured in duplicate to estimate variability and the pooled standard deviations are as follows: Nitrate Sp=0.37 uM; Silicate Sp=0.72 uM; Phosphate Sp=0.042 uM. *INSTRUMENT TYPE : Bottle MODEL : Niskin 10 Litre !-1-- --2--- ---3---- ---4---- --5-- ---6--- ---7---- !Samp Pressu Temperat Salinity Trans Oxygen: Salinity !le_ re ure: :T0:C0 missi Dissolv :Bottle !Numb Primary vity ed !er !---- ------ -------- -------- ----- ------- -------- *END OF HEADER 935 0.5 12.5182 0.8112 0.7 7.698 -99.0000 934 10.2 8.4066 29.3055 56.7 4.503 -99.0000 933 20.1 8.0021 30.6405 62.2 4.251 -99.0000 932 31.0 8.1108 31.1212 62.0 4.516 -99.0000 931 51.3 8.1756 31.4549 61.7 4.454 -99.0000 930 75.5 8.2646 31.6492 62.7 4.391 -99.0000 929 100.3 8.2695 31.7384 61.5 4.308 -99.0000 928 125.2 8.2697 31.7655 61.3 4.287 -99.0000 927 149.9 8.2886 31.8088 60.5 4.261 -99.0000 926 175.0 8.2564 31.8392 60.1 4.241 -99.0000 925 200.2 8.0784 31.8670 59.8 4.083 -99.0000 924 250.2 7.4820 31.8696 61.8 3.663 -99.0000 923 299.8 7.3043 31.8799 62.3 3.517 31.8823 922 399.9 7.2545 31.8926 62.0 3.483 31.8944 921 483.2 7.2289 31.9004 57.9 3.399 31.9019
