The pressures of the bottle trips are also from the uncorrected upcast data. Dissolved oxygen concentrations were determined using an automated Titration system consisting of a Brinkman Dosimat (model 665) and a PC 900 Colorimeter. Nutrients were measured using an Autoanalyzer II, following the Procedures outlined in 'Institute of Ocean Sciences Nutrient Methods and Analysis, Barwell-Clarke and Whitney, 1997'. The samples were frozen on board and brought back to IOS for analysis. Nitrate/silicate samples were defrosted for about 24 h before analysis. Phosphate samples were rapidly defrosted in moving room temperature air or warm water. Lab temperature was noted periodically, and may be found on the original data sheets; it was generally around 26 C. See file 9814nutr.xls for details on the analysis, turbidity corrections and calibration for the nutrient data. For nutrients, total of 189 samples were measured and of these, 25 samples were measured in duplicate to estimate variability and the pooled standard deviations are as follows: Nitrate Sp=0.37 uM; Silicate Sp=0.72 uM; Phosphate Sp=0.042 uM. *INSTRUMENT TYPE : Bottle MODEL : Niskin 10 Litre !-1-- --2--- ---3---- ---4---- --5-- ---6--- ---7---- !Samp Pressu Temperat Salinity Trans Oxygen: Salinity !le_ re ure: :T0:C0 missi Dissolv :Bottle !Numb Primary vity ed !er !---- ------ -------- -------- ----- ------- -------- *END OF HEADER 827 0.4 13.7564 21.0840 15.6 7.783 -99.0000 826 10.3 9.3262 28.8916 55.7 5.105 -99.0000 825 20.5 8.6627 30.7406 61.2 4.741 -99.0000 824 30.7 8.5777 31.2075 63.5 4.793 -99.0000 823 50.5 8.5669 31.7751 64.6 4.525 -99.0000 822 75.6 8.1947 32.3754 62.8 3.972 -99.0000 821 100.5 8.1396 32.4454 62.1 3.863 -99.0000 820 125.1 8.1386 32.5323 62.0 3.986 -99.0000 819 150.1 8.0412 32.6734 62.6 4.030 -99.0000 818 175.6 7.9292 32.7860 63.2 3.999 -99.0000 817 202.7 7.8327 32.8323 63.8 3.916 -99.0000 816 252.1 7.7467 32.8871 56.7 3.800 32.8868 815 298.9 7.6781 32.9255 61.6 3.736 32.9298 814 335.9 7.6661 32.9351 44.5 3.687 32.9372
