The pressures of the bottle trips are also from the uncorrected upcast data. Dissolved oxygen concentrations were determined using an automated Titration system consisting of a Brinkman Dosimat (model 665) and a PC 900 Colorimeter. Nutrients were measured using an Autoanalyzer II, following the Procedures outlined in 'Institute of Ocean Sciences Nutrient Methods and Analysis, Barwell-Clarke and Whitney, 1997'. The samples were frozen on board and brought back to IOS for analysis. Nitrate/silicate samples were defrosted for about 24 h before analysis. Phosphate samples were rapidly defrosted in moving room temperature air or warm water. Lab temperature was noted periodically, and may be found on the original data sheets; it was generally around 26 C. See file 9814nutr.xls for details on the analysis, turbidity corrections and calibration for the nutrient data. For nutrients, total of 189 samples were measured and of these, 25 samples were measured in duplicate to estimate variability and the pooled standard deviations are as follows: Nitrate Sp=0.37 uM; Silicate Sp=0.72 uM; Phosphate Sp=0.042 uM. *INSTRUMENT TYPE : Bottle MODEL : Niskin 10 Litre !-1-- --2--- ---3---- ---4---- --5-- ---6--- ---7---- !Samp Pressu Temperat Salinity Trans Oxygen: Salinity !le_ re ure: :T0:C0 missi Dissolv :Bottle !Numb Primary vity ed !er !---- ------ -------- -------- ----- ------- -------- *END OF HEADER 759 0.2 16.3948 9.1078 32.2 6.741 -99.0000 758 10.5 9.2384 29.3626 42.8 5.060 -99.0000 757 20.1 8.3613 30.9015 61.3 4.422 -99.0000 756 30.0 8.3133 31.2548 63.8 4.233 -99.0000 755 50.2 8.4185 31.9264 64.8 3.799 -99.0000 754 75.2 8.1985 32.4665 64.7 3.495 -99.0000 753 100.1 8.2252 32.6665 64.7 3.540 -99.0000 752 124.7 8.2083 32.7454 64.4 3.545 -99.0000 751 150.2 8.1232 32.8968 63.8 3.527 -99.0000 750 174.9 8.0197 33.0131 63.4 3.584 -99.0000 749 200.2 7.9676 33.0589 63.1 3.416 -99.0000 748 249.9 7.9250 33.1005 62.6 3.391 -99.0000 747 300.0 7.9085 33.1180 62.1 3.368 33.1203 746 351.0 7.9037 33.1258 61.9 3.363 33.1278 745 439.8 7.8992 33.1361 61.3 3.365 33.1382
