The pressures of the bottle trips are also from the uncorrected upcast data. Dissolved oxygen concentrations were determined using an automated Titration system consisting of a Brinkman Dosimat (model 665) and a PC 900 Colorimeter. Nutrients were measured using an Autoanalyzer II, following the Procedures outlined in 'Institute of Ocean Sciences Nutrient Methods and Analysis, Barwell-Clarke and Whitney, 1997'. The samples were frozen on board and brought back to IOS for analysis. Nitrate/silicate samples were defrosted for about 24 h before analysis. Phosphate samples were rapidly defrosted in moving room temperature air or warm water. Lab temperature was noted periodically, and may be found on the original data sheets; it was generally around 26 C. See file 9814nutr.xls for details on the analysis, turbidity corrections and calibration for the nutrient data. For nutrients, total of 189 samples were measured and of these, 25 samples were measured in duplicate to estimate variability and the pooled standard deviations are as follows: Nitrate Sp=0.37 uM; Silicate Sp=0.72 uM; Phosphate Sp=0.042 uM. *INSTRUMENT TYPE : Bottle MODEL : Niskin 10 Litre !-1-- --2--- ---3---- ---4---- --5-- ---6--- ---7---- !Samp Pressu Temperat Salinity Trans Oxygen: Salinity !le_ re ure: :T0:C0 missi Dissolv :Bottle !Numb Primary vity ed !er !---- ------ -------- -------- ----- ------- -------- *END OF HEADER 545 0.2 15.5202 9.2023 25.9 7.056 -99.0000 544 10.5 9.1101 28.6013 57.5 4.864 -99.0000 543 20.7 8.5241 29.6681 60.3 4.539 -99.0000 542 30.2 8.1985 30.1507 58.6 4.500 -99.0000 541 50.2 8.6343 30.4367 61.2 4.890 -99.0000 540 74.5 8.6903 30.4906 60.5 4.876 -99.0000 539 100.5 8.7348 30.6041 61.5 4.854 -99.0000 538 125.2 8.7533 30.7069 58.2 4.856 -99.0000 537 149.6 8.7485 30.8014 56.4 4.808 -99.0000 536 174.9 8.7466 30.8551 55.0 4.742 -99.0000 535 199.8 8.7408 30.8867 54.5 4.710 -99.0000 534 249.8 8.2929 30.9715 52.3 4.171 30.9696 533 300.5 8.0761 30.9776 53.8 3.815 30.9792 532 430.9 7.8715 30.9968 51.2 3.479 30.9969
