The pressures of the bottle trips are also from the uncorrected upcast data. Dissolved oxygen concentrations were determined using an automated Titration system consisting of a Brinkman Dosimat (model 665) and a PC 900 Colorimeter. Nutrients were measured using an Autoanalyzer II, following the Procedures outlined in 'Institute of Ocean Sciences Nutrient Methods and Analysis, Barwell-Clarke and Whitney, 1997'. The samples were frozen on board and brought back to IOS for analysis. Nitrate/silicate samples were defrosted for about 24 h before analysis. Phosphate samples were rapidly defrosted in moving room temperature air or warm water. Lab temperature was noted periodically, and may be found on the original data sheets; it was generally around 26 C. See file 9814nutr.xls for details on the analysis, turbidity corrections and calibration for the nutrient data. For nutrients, total of 189 samples were measured and of these, 25 samples were measured in duplicate to estimate variability and the pooled standard deviations are as follows: Nitrate Sp=0.37 uM; Silicate Sp=0.72 uM; Phosphate Sp=0.042 uM. *INSTRUMENT TYPE : Bottle MODEL : Niskin 10 Litre !-1-- --2--- ---3---- ---4---- --5-- ---6--- ---7---- !Samp Pressu Temperat Salinity Trans Oxygen: Salinity !le_ re ure: :T0:C0 missi Dissolv :Bottle !Numb Primary vity ed !er !---- ------ -------- -------- ----- ------- -------- *END OF HEADER 344 0.5 16.4969 22.5774 36.5 7.101 -99.0000 343 10.7 13.7927 25.2713 50.0 6.032 -99.0000 342 21.0 9.9043 28.5143 61.3 4.315 -99.0000 341 30.9 9.2982 29.2749 63.0 4.032 -99.0000 340 50.6 9.0214 29.5002 64.6 4.037 -99.0000 339 75.5 8.9894 29.6681 64.6 -99.000 -99.0000 338 100.5 9.0259 29.8373 64.8 4.059 -99.0000 337 125.4 9.1081 30.0106 64.5 3.790 -99.0000 336 150.3 9.1887 30.1791 64.3 3.315 -99.0000 335 175.2 9.1982 30.2889 64.3 3.264 30.2862 334 200.2 9.2128 30.4195 63.6 2.979 30.4207 333 250.1 9.2147 30.6032 62.1 2.436 30.6066 332 300.4 9.1773 30.7943 62.9 1.980 30.7965 331 399.7 9.1881 30.9973 59.0 1.762 30.9988 330 595.6 9.2216 31.0389 50.0 1.569 31.0390
