The pressures of the bottle trips are also from the uncorrected upcast data. Dissolved oxygen concentrations were determined using an automated Titration system consisting of a Brinkman Dosimat (model 665) and a PC 900 Colorimeter. Nutrients were measured using an Autoanalyzer II, following the Procedures outlined in 'Institute of Ocean Sciences Nutrient Methods and Analysis, Barwell-Clarke and Whitney, 1997'. The samples were frozen on board and brought back to IOS for analysis. Nitrate/silicate samples were defrosted for about 24 h before analysis. Phosphate samples were rapidly defrosted in moving room temperature air or warm water. Lab temperature was noted periodically, and may be found on the original data sheets; it was generally around 26 C. See file 9814nutr.xls for details on the analysis, turbidity corrections and calibration for the nutrient data. For nutrients, total of 189 samples were measured and of these, 25 samples were measured in duplicate to estimate variability and the pooled standard deviations are as follows: Nitrate Sp=0.37 uM; Silicate Sp=0.72 uM; Phosphate Sp=0.042 uM. *INSTRUMENT TYPE : Bottle MODEL : Niskin 10 Litre !-1-- --2--- ---3---- ---4---- --5-- ---6--- ---7---- !Samp Pressu Temperat Salinity Trans Oxygen: Salinity !le_ re ure: :T0:C0 missi Dissolv :Bottle !Numb Primary vity ed !er !---- ------ -------- -------- ----- ------- -------- *END OF HEADER 313 0.0 17.2630 22.5240 44.9 6.719 -99.0000 312 11.1 13.7783 24.9493 40.0 7.145 -99.0000 311 21.0 10.9827 27.1268 56.3 5.457 -99.0000 310 30.9 9.1411 28.8913 64.9 3.406 -99.0000 309 50.7 9.0393 29.4536 65.1 3.597 -99.0000 308 75.5 9.1940 29.6722 65.1 2.976 -99.0000 307 100.4 9.2887 29.8607 65.5 2.488 -99.0000 306 125.5 9.3219 30.0166 65.2 2.430 -99.0000 305 150.7 9.2891 30.1905 64.6 2.592 -99.0000 304 175.4 9.2482 30.3324 64.9 2.681 30.3462 303 200.6 9.2306 30.4528 65.3 2.421 30.4545 302 250.7 9.1691 30.6266 65.4 1.960 30.6330 301 300.4 9.1819 30.8144 64.6 1.540 30.8286 300 400.6 9.2129 31.0097 61.4 1.961 31.0104 299 500.6 9.2300 31.0283 58.3 1.538 31.0281 298 537.6 9.2306 31.0293 58.4 1.533 31.0291
