The pressures of the bottle trips are also from the uncorrected upcast data. Dissolved oxygen concentrations were determined using an automated Titration system consisting of a Brinkman Dosimat (model 665) and a PC 900 Colorimeter. Nutrients were measured using an Autoanalyzer II, following the Procedures outlined in 'Institute of Ocean Sciences Nutrient Methods and Analysis, Barwell-Clarke and Whitney, 1997'. The samples were frozen on board and brought back to IOS for analysis. Nitrate/silicate samples were defrosted for about 24 h before analysis. Phosphate samples were rapidly defrosted in moving room temperature air or warm water. Lab temperature was noted periodically, and may be found on the original data sheets; it was generally around 26 C. See file 9814nutr.xls for details on the analysis, turbidity corrections and calibration for the nutrient data. For nutrients, total of 189 samples were measured and of these, 25 samples were measured in duplicate to estimate variability and the pooled standard deviations are as follows: Nitrate Sp=0.37 uM; Silicate Sp=0.72 uM; Phosphate Sp=0.042 uM. *INSTRUMENT TYPE : Bottle MODEL : Niskin 10 Litre !-1-- --2--- ---3---- ---4---- --5-- ---6--- ---7---- !Samp Pressu Temperat Salinity Trans Oxygen: Salinity !le_ re ure: :T0:C0 missi Dissolv :Bottle !Numb Primary vity ed !er !---- ------ -------- -------- ----- ------- -------- *END OF HEADER 266 0.5 17.0725 17.1915 44.5 6.938 -99.0000 265 10.5 12.6690 25.0785 38.8 7.496 -99.0000 264 19.5 9.4953 27.7387 50.1 4.598 -99.0000 263 30.2 9.0165 29.2475 63.3 2.922 -99.0000 262 50.7 9.0597 29.5194 63.8 2.884 -99.0000 261 75.9 8.9934 29.6611 64.4 2.630 -99.0000 260 100.9 9.0154 29.8623 64.8 2.475 -99.0000 259 125.6 8.9753 30.0429 64.2 2.209 -99.0000 258 150.7 9.0670 30.1627 65.2 2.139 -99.0000 257 175.5 9.1382 30.3033 65.3 2.040 30.3006 256 201.0 9.1024 30.4083 64.4 1.681 30.4066 255 250.5 9.1429 30.5925 64.7 1.659 30.5946 254 300.3 9.2106 30.8576 58.9 1.198 30.8502 253 348.3 9.2220 30.9299 47.7 1.172 30.9282
