The pressures of the bottle trips are also from the uncorrected upcast data. Dissolved oxygen concentrations were determined using an automated Titration system consisting of a Brinkman Dosimat (model 665) and a PC 900 Colorimeter. Nutrients were measured using an Autoanalyzer II, following the Procedures outlined in 'Institute of Ocean Sciences Nutrient Methods and Analysis, Barwell-Clarke and Whitney, 1997'. The samples were frozen on board and brought back to IOS for analysis. Nitrate/silicate samples were defrosted for about 24 h before analysis. Phosphate samples were rapidly defrosted in moving room temperature air or warm water. Lab temperature was noted periodically, and may be found on the original data sheets; it was generally around 26 C. See file 9814nutr.xls for details on the analysis, turbidity corrections and calibration for the nutrient data. For nutrients, total of 189 samples were measured and of these, 25 samples were measured in duplicate to estimate variability and the pooled standard deviations are as follows: Nitrate Sp=0.37 uM; Silicate Sp=0.72 uM; Phosphate Sp=0.042 uM. *INSTRUMENT TYPE : Bottle MODEL : Niskin 10 Litre !-1-- --2--- ---3---- ---4---- --5-- ---6--- ---7---- !Samp Pressu Temperat Salinity Trans Oxygen: Salinity !le_ re ure: :T0:C0 missi Dissolv :Bottle !Numb Primary vity ed !er !---- ------ -------- -------- ----- ------- -------- *END OF HEADER 252 0.3 17.5143 16.9928 43.8 7.116 -99.0000 251 10.5 11.4112 26.6660 45.5 6.422 -99.0000 250 20.2 8.9880 28.8607 59.7 2.763 -99.0000 249 30.7 9.0252 29.3525 63.5 2.873 -99.0000 248 50.6 9.0458 29.5038 63.9 2.832 -99.0000 247 75.7 8.9404 29.6247 64.9 2.662 -99.0000 246 99.5 8.8664 29.7645 63.8 2.423 -99.0000 245 124.7 8.9097 30.0059 62.8 2.072 -99.0000 244 149.4 8.9621 30.1451 62.1 1.822 -99.0000 243 174.6 9.0255 30.2793 63.4 1.591 30.2994 242 200.1 9.0808 30.4012 61.0 1.525 30.4043 241 251.2 9.1433 30.5779 56.2 1.366 30.4666
