Sorted by channel: Pressure Pressure channel sorted according to values in sort channel $END *COMMENTS Analysis methods: ----------------- Salinity samples are collected in glass bottles and analyzed on Guildline model 8410 Portasal Salinometers which are standardized with IAPSO standard seawater. Oxygen samples are analyzed on an automated Winkler titration system following the procedures of Carpenter (1965). A Brinkmann model 665 Dosimat and model PC910 Colorimeter is controlled by Visual-Basic program to titrate the oxygen samples. Comments from secondary file: H:\New_Archive\1997\1997-04\hydro\97040042.ios ---------------------------------------------- Cruise 9704 nutrient and chlorophyll data Nutrient comments: Main source file for nutrients:ecol_lib:\data\waterpro\nutrient\9704nut.xls "Samples were frozen before analyzed. N/Si samples were defrosted 24 h, P were defrosted 1 h." "These samples were rapidly frozen in isopropanol, and as is usual with the method," most of the PO4 samples and many of the N/Si samples were contaminated with alcohol. "When it was necessary to pour off the alcohol from the sample, it has been noted. No replicates" "were taken, so the effect of the alcohol contamination or other factors on the variability" of the data is unknown. !-1-- --2--- ---3--- ---4---- --5-- --6-- --7--- !Samp Pressu Oxygen: Salinity Nitra Silic Phosph !le_ re Dissolv :Bottle te_ ate ate !Numb ed plus_ !er Nitri ! te !---- ------ ------- -------- ----- ----- ------ *END OF HEADER 220 1.7 10.519 -99.0000 0.6 6.0 0.14 219 10.0 6.524 -99.0000 11.0 27.5 0.96 218 20.2 5.220 -99.0000 16.3 34.8 1.35 217 30.2 5.017 -99.0000 17.1 36.6 1.44 216 40.1 3.807 -99.0000 -99.0 -99.0 -99.00 215 50.2 3.315 -99.0000 -99.0 -99.0 -99.00 214 60.2 0.046 -99.0000 -99.0 -99.0 -99.00 213 70.3 0.022 -99.0000 -99.0 -99.0 -99.00 212 80.1 0.048 -99.0000 -99.0 -99.0 -99.00 211 90.0 0.000 -99.0000 -99.0 -99.0 -99.00 210 100.1 0.000 32.5254 -99.0 -99.0 -99.00 209 112.8 0.000 32.5294 -99.0 -99.0 -99.00 208 118.5 0.000 32.5297 -99.0 -99.0 -99.00
