Analysis methods: ----------------- Salinity samples are collected in glass bottles and analyzed on Guildline model 8410 Portasal Salinometers which are standardized with IAPSO standard seawater. Oxygen samples are analyzed on an automated Winkler titration system following the procedures of Carpenter (1965). A Brinkmann model 665 Dosimat and model PC910 Colorimeter is controlled by Visual-Basic program to titrate the oxygen samples. Nutrient samples are analyzed fresh on board using a Technicon AAII auto- analyzer following methods described in Barwell-Clarke and Whitney (1996). !-1-- --2--- ---3--- --4--- --5-- --6-- --7--- --8--- !Samp Pressu Salinit Oxygen Nitra Silic Phosph Ammoni !le_ re y : te_ ate ate um !Numb Dissol plus_ !er ved Nitri ! te !---- ------ ------- ------ ----- ----- ------ ------ *END OF HEADER 508 50.0 30.453 91.4 28.2 51.4 2.71 0.09 507 60.0 30.699 53.0 28.4 62.0 3.24 0.08 506 80.0 31.098 8.1 24.1 75.8 4.07 0.09 505 100.0 31.193 27.7 20.8 76.4 4.14 0.08 504 120.0 31.189 10.7 7.5 98.4 4.87 2.92 503 140.0 31.208 1.0 1.2 115.4 5.70 5.34 502 160.0 31.243 13.8 10.5 99.8 4.67 11.16 501 180.0 31.269 44.1 18.1 81.3 4.07 1.46 500 200.0 31.314 43.9 18.4 82.0 4.01 2.30 499 220.0 31.383 35.6 18.4 87.3 4.07 4.10
