    These data were collected by B. Minkley of the Ocean Physics Group at IOS.
    The data was collected because of a herring kill in Saanich Inlet.
    The intent of the water sampling was to determine if low DO conditions might
    have been responsible for the herrring kill.

    Water samples were taken with Niskin bottles.
    Temperatures were obtained with paired reversing thermometers at each depth.
        Accuracy of the temperature taken with reversing thermometers
        is +- 0.02 C but reported to nearest 0.01 C.
    Salinity determinations were carried out using an Guildline AutoSal.
        Accuracy of the salinity determinations is +- 0.005PSU.
    Dissolved oxygen determination were carried out using a modified
    Winkler method according to the procedures described by
    Strickland and Parsons (1965).
        Accuracies of +-0.03ml/l are possible using the Winkler Method. ??

    These data were converted to IOS header format by D. Stucchi (IOS).
