*COMMENTS

    No salinity data since difficulties were experienced in salinity trace
    adjustments. Terminal on salinity sensor was difficult to waterproof.

    Contents:
    Cast data from Weathership program using ships Vancouver & Quadra from
    Vancouver Island, BC, Canada to Ocean Weather Station P [50N x 145W].

    Collection method:
    Salinity-Temperature-pressure data were obtained with a Bissett-Berman
    model 9006 or 9040 STD. The STD actually measures conductivity which is
    converted to salinity in the unit.

    Computation:
    Analog records from the Salinity-Temperature-Pressure instrument have
    been hand digitized, then replotted. Digitization was continued until
    original analog and computer plotted traces were coincident.
