    Bottle data from Weathership program using ships Vancouver & Quadra from
    Vancouver Island, BC, Canada to Ocean Weather Station P [50N x 145W].

    Chlorophyll and nutrients were analyzed using methods from Bulletin 125
    Fisheries Research Board of Canada 1960 "A manual of seawater analysis"
    J.D.H. Strickland and T.R. Parsons, and subsequent editions.

    Productivity rates are measured on samples incubated at surface
    temperatures and at simulated in situ radiation levels. Productivity
    values should be used with caution, Table 3 in reference 1 lists
    those samples where abnormal values occur. In the data report many
    productivity values were represented as "<.01". It is unclear what this
    means. In our files this value is indicated as "0.01"
